Admissions into RGUKT(AP IIITS) is a dream to many rural background students who are very enthusiastic and dreamt of persuading higher education... RGUKT provides a wonderful platform for all the financially backward students who are well at their studies... It offers a 6-year BTECH Integrated course based on the merit/GPA they had secured in the SSC examinations... But as we all are aware that exams are cancelled and students are promoted directly without examinations based on their performance in the previous examinations that were held in their respected schools due to the COVID 19 epidemic... In General, admissions into RGUKT are taken through the merit they have secured in the SSC board which is applied through online applications every year...But this year this won’t be possible...So the administration of RGUKT is decided to conduct a Common Entrance Test designated as RGUKT-CET 2021 like as before last year...This test is conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies(RGUKT), Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2021-2022... So far, last year admissions(2020-2021) are taken through this common entrance test and students are instructed to take examinations in the centres where they are allowed to take by the college administration...And the examination is held in the offline mode through objective type in the OMR sheet... As the instructed earlier exam is conducted and results are declared based on their rank/marks they secured and are asked to appear in the counselling in the given dates and after the completion of counselling, students are allocated to their campus-based on their preference list...
Every year the 10th completed students will be selected to RGUKT ( AP IIIT ) based on their merit...ie., Marks / GPA but due to the Carona pandemic this year(2020) SSC exams are not held and all the students are passed their SSC. So, there is no merit to select the 10th completed to RGUKT. So, RGUKT (AP IIIT) administration is decided to conduct a Common Entrance Test designated as RGUKT-CET 2020. This exam is conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2020-2021.
Admission into 6 years integrated B.Tech program offered by RGUKT in its four campuses i.e...., R.K. Valley, Nuzvid, Ongole and Srikakulam. Candidates who are taking this RGUKT CET-2020 will also be eligible for admission into 2/3 year Diploma programs in Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupathi (SVVU); Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, (ANGRAU), Guntur and Dr Y.S.R. Horticultural University (Dr.YSRHU), Venkataramannagudem.
PARTICULARS OF RGUKT CET – 2020
Exam Date & Time:- 28-11-2020 from 11.00 A.M. to 01.00 P.M.
Exam Duration:- 2hrs.
Exam Mode:- Offline Based ( OMR answer sheet )
Exam Pattern:- Maths – 50 marks
science – 50 marks ( each question carrying one mark )
Exam syllabus:- 10th Class of Board of Secondary Education, AP syllabus.
• There is no negative mark.
Coming to the syllabus and exam pattern of the examination, the syllabus is maths and science in their 10th class syllabus which they have studied earlier...And the exam is conducted in offline mode in the objective manner where students are instructed to do in OMR sheet...Many students may aware of this type of examination... Students who are willing to persuade the education in RGUKT are instructed to apply for the common entrance test once the notifications are released...They can apply for this examination through any MEESEVA centres nearby them...And once they are registered for the entrance test, they are allowed to appear for the examinations in their respective centres and allowed into the centres through their hall tickets which are released by RGUKT once they got registered for the exams...
