COURSES IN RGUKT (AP – IIIT)

 

 

I. COURSES IN RGUKT (AP – IIIT ):

   The 6 years B.TECH integrated course in RGUKT consists of 2 terms.

 

1.PUC-Pre University Course(2 years)

   The pre-university course is nothing but 11th and 12th classes, Generally, in Telugu states, we call it an Intermediate course. But varied from the other colleges, the RGUKT has semester examinations from the PUC onwards, in which there are 2 semesters each year, syllabus and some subjects vary from each semester PUC which is 2 years provides with the two courses  

 

2.BTECH(4 Years)  

a) Pre University Courses ( PUC - 2 years): M.P.C group will be 

offered with the following courses:-

• Chemistry
• Physics
• Mathematics
• English
• Information Technology
•  
• Telugu / Sanskrit ( Sanskrit is only for Non -Telugu students who haven’t studied Telugu as a second language )
• Biology (Optional) 
• In addition with the above subjects biology is also provided in optional, interested students can apt the subject And coming to the IT subject, most of you wonder about this but in PUC itself RGUKT Provides the students with the knowledge of computer and programming languages like PYTHONThis benefits the students with utmost skills in programming in their higher courses But, The benefit of RGUKT, is they provide the students with the LAPTOP and free wifi at dormitories, classrooms and library where students can access to the internet and gain knowledge through them

b) B.Tech (4 years):- The following branches will be offered in RGUKT ( AP IIIT ). RGUKT offers the students who promoted to BTECH from the PUC course these branches.

1. Chemical Engineering ( Chem )
2. Civil Engineering ( CE )
3. Computer Science and Engineering ( CSE)
4. Electrical and Electronics Engineering ( EEE )
5. Electronics and Communications Engineering ( ECE)
6. Metallurgical and Materials Engineering ( MME )
7. Mechanical Engineering ( ME )
8. These seven BTech courses are provided to the students after their successful completion of PUC Students are asked to choose their branch by their wish through their registration...And the branch is allowed to students based on their percentage or CGPA they gained in PUC...Each branch is reserved with some number of students, if the student is not provided with the branch he/she wanted they are allocated with the branch they have chosen in the 2nd preference... The branch allotment is done systematically...And after the completion of BTECH students leave the campus with both the PUC and BTECH certificates.

1) AH Polytechnic - 2 Years - Telugu Medium

2) Fishery Polytechnic - 2 Years - Telugu Medium

3) Dairy Polytechnic - 2 Years - Telugu Medium

→ Diploma programmes offered by Acharya N.G.Ranga Agricultural University:

1) Diploma in Agriculture - 2 Yrs. - Telugu Medium

2) Diploma in Agricultural Engineering - 3 Yrs - English Medium

3) Diploma in Seed Technology - 2 Yrs. - Telugu Medium

4) Diploma in Organic Farming - 2 Yrs - Telugu Medium

→ Diploma programme offered by Dr Y.S.R Horticultural University:

1 Diploma in Horticulture - 2 Yrs. - Telugu Medium
