How to get seat in IIIT College?
As before I said to you all about RGUKT in my previous articles, some of you might want to join this university but don’t know how to or what you need to do to get into this university, so let’s get started about how you can get a seat in IIIT,
Since we know that RGUKT ( AP – IIIT’s ) are established to give better and quality education to the poor and rural people. To help merit students to build a better Btech career and to help students to pursue their dreams.
As We all know that RGUKT is a combination of 5 IIIT colleges in Both AP &Ts. We have a 6 year integrated ( PUC+Engineering ) course in IIIT’s. PUC which is a pre-university course offers MPC ( maths,physics&chemistry), & MbiPC (biology as an optional subject, we can consider it as MBIPC). This course is combined with four semesters and from the PUC itself, students are introduced to programming languages such as python etc. And students will be given Laptops to enhance their skills in programming and for easy accessing to study materials with internet access which we have never seen in any other colleges.
Coming to Engineering course which is for 4 years we have 7 different branches with their specifications. Such as
1.Computer science engineering,
2. Electronics and communication engineering,
3. Mechanical engineering,
4. Civil engineering,
5. Chemical engineering,
6.Materials science and Metallurgical engineering,
and now newly added branch 7. Electrical engineering...
To get a seat in RGUKT (AP – IIIT) firstly we must secure good marks in the 10th class i.e., GPA. Second thing if u have finished ur 10th standard in Government schools AP Government adds 0.4marks to your GPA. There will be least opportunities for private school students. We have also a reservation category in the allocation of seats. i.e.,
EWS – 10%, BC-30%, SC-15%, ST-6%,
Under special category - NCC-2%, Sports-0. 5%, PH-3%, CAP-1%.
Under special category - NCC-2%, Sports-0. 5%, PH-3%, CAP-1% Government school students who scored a good GPA and need a platform for building their career you must go for this ... apply for a seat on the official website of RGUKT and I hope you all get seats in it...
I got 566 marks in my 10th GPA , i am icse student ,in private school l, will i get iiit seat
