    Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies ( RGUKT ) popularly known as IIIT's was initially formed in 2008 by one of the greatest and the evergreen Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy Garu.

    The main motto of these IIIT's is to provide quality education along with world-class infrastructure and facilities to the rural youth of Andhra Pradesh. IIIT's provide a golden opportunity to the rural youth to enhance and develop themselves and to achieve their dreams without any financial struggles.

    In this article, we are going to discuss the infrastructure and facilities provided to the students of the IIIT's.

    All these IIIT's are well-planned campuses with the best hands-on experience Labs along with a big Central digital Library where you can explore a lot and which is quite resourceful. IIITs provide separate hostels for boys and girls, dining halls(separately for boys and girls- near their respective hostels), Sports Complex, Gymnasium, Yoga Shala, indoor stadium, auditorium, open-air theatre, canteens, respective blocks for each branch, wide grounds, bank, ATM’s, police station, hospital, supermarket, temple, mosque, church and many more.

    The classrooms look like computer labs as the university provides a laptop along with its accessories to each student for e-learning, also provides a projector for each classroom which leads to digital learning. Academic blocks and hostels in IIIT's provide WiFi throughout the day. Along with a personal laptop, University also provides 2 pairs of university uniforms and sports uniforms with each and also provides a pair of formal shoes and sports shoes.

    Hostels in IIITs also provide a room with other fellow students, a pillow, a bed, a cot, a pillow cover, a bed cover and a towel. through which we can know more about other places from our roommates and build good communication between people from so many places.

Another best thing in RGUKT is,
    IIIT's doesn't only provides quality education but also provides a platform to learn, improve and showcase yourself in various clubs and organizations like E-cell(Entrepreneurship cell), CSD club(Communication and skill development club), dance, singing,
HHO(Helping hands Organization) etc.

    RGUKTians formed some committees like HHO etc through which many people are getting help in case of emergencies and this is the best program for students RGUKT’s also hosting so many cultural programs through which students can showcase their arts, talents like Abhiyanth etc... IIIT also offers special courses for students in music, dance etc...
    The scenery in RGUKT is best, far from busy living cities and in-between nature – RGUKT has beautiful greenish scenery surrounded by mountains. The view is worth watching, studying in that atmosphere with a peaceful mind is so refreshing and we can improve much more with the environment...
